Alycia Debnam-Carey is a Australian actor best known for Fear the Walking Dead and other shows on TV. As a child she began her acting career in Sydney, Australia. Martha's New Coat short film that she was a part of it, was her debut film role. Her TV debut was on an episode from the TV show McLeod's daughter. Her debut major role was a recurring character on the science fiction television series The 100. The show was based on the novel of the same name. She portrayed the role of the Commander Lexa who was a powerful leader of twelve clans. The popularity of her character grew even more following her appearance as Commander Lexa in Fear the Walking Dead, the horror-themed TV show. The show has been highly praised by critics as well as winning numerous prizes. Jigsaw Girl, The Branch as well as other short films have had her in the show. The first time she appeared was as a leading lady in the disaster film made from found footage movie Into the Storm. The film was a huge success commercially but received mostly unfavourable critiques.
